TON O' FUN cartoonist Harry Lampert was the first artist on The Flash and later became an internationally renowned expert on the game of bridge.

Yes, when it came to lettering those covers and ads (and logos) at DC, Ira Schnapp was the man! One of his quirks was his e's that looked like backward 3's.
ReplyDeleteI think he was a sign-painter before he got his DC gig...which lasted from about the beginning till 1968.
