If I were reading WF back in the day, I'd start to think they were really just coasting here and I'm not sure they weren't. It was entertaining still but seemed somehow empty. Keep in mind that in the rest of the comics realm, horror comics were by this point taking over and getting grislier and gorier. And here the covers just keep getting sillier and sillier. Changes were coming but not just yet.
