At this early stage, the writers were still finding excuses for our heroes to run into each other as seen in this story. Oddly enough the unusually brown-suited Clark kent appears more than the Man of Steel himself.
Tomahawk's villain of the issue is Toucan Sam.
Another early Silver Age debut is that of perennial cub reporter James Bartholomew Olsen in his own magazine. His often surreal, silly or just plain goofy adventures would make his title a cult favorite that would last more than two decades.
