Another fill-in but a better story by Busiek and much better art combining newcomer penciler Mark Texeira with the wonderful but overwhelming inker, Alfredo Alcala.
A fairly regular occurrence at DC in this period was to stick almost a full comic book's worth of extra pages in the middle to preview" something, usually another new series but in this case, a toy line!
DC had the rights to TREK and did a great job with it.
