World's Finest # 194, June, 1970

'Mafia" had become a big buzzword with the publication of THE GODFATHER  year earlier and it would continue to be so as the movie was made and released. Writer Bob Haney took advantage of that perceived interest with this entertaining but thoroughly unbelievable tale, yet another part one. I imagine most kids had never heard the word "mafia" however.

Was this the only time Dick Grayson's former fame as part of an aerialist family is ever mentioned again?

Yikes! Dick gets an appearance in the main story but loses his backup to particularly murky and uninteresting reprints.

I had this!
