This issue came out just as Jack Kirby's returned presence was about to start being felt at DC (see ad below) so the King actually got plugged on the cover for his GA reprint. Bridwell was Editor of this transitional issue (as he often was with the reprints)
This time, big changes really were on the horizon--some good, some pointless. WORLD'S FINEST was definitely about to change all around. It had been a good run.
