This issue was out at Christmastime in 1948, a particularly bland time for comic books. This explains in part why the DOC AND FATTY story is the most interesting story in this fairly bland issue!
Except for Bulls-Eye, it's unusual to see Green Arrow face a real super-villain instead of ordinary crooks. Even if "The Wind" does wear a weather-vane on his head!! lol
Also, is it my imagination or does Rip Carter get featured more & more as the Boy Commandos move to The End of the line?
