It was Christmas of '64, a subdued holiday to be sure but a holiday nonetheless. Kennedy died in November and the Beatles arrived in the US in February. This was that awkward period in-between those two culture-changing events.
Once again the boys wear each other's outfits only this time, Batman gets killed…or would have if it had been Batman. Robin presumes him dead at first. Batwoman thinks so for even longer.
