World's Finest # 23, July/August, 1946


Above we see Robin getting some revenge for the Man of Steel's "superdickery" of a previous cover.

GCD lists another Joe Simon "True" story this issue but previously they were listed on the contents page and this time there's no listing...and no trace of said story.


Ed Dobrotka drew this SUPERMAN tale, possibly inked by Stan Kaye.

















Already DC was producing more and more of the funny animal comics that would eventually drive out some of the super heroes.




NERVOUS NORMAN is by Phil Berube, a famous sports cartoonist.
