World's Finest # 60, September/October, 1952

Well, I was wrong when I said earlier we were through with silly villains like J. Wilbur Wolfingham. Because here he comes again.

With a new conflict in Korea, war comic books made a bit of a comeback and DC was there. Some companies' books were real hung-ho and more than a bit racist and violent. DC's told good stories with bland to good art at this point but none of the stories were so extreme that they wouldn't have been approved by the Code that was still a couple of years away.

And DC's contributions to the horror boom were not particularly horrible either.

Jack Farr is back with his distinctive lettering and old-fashioned art style.
