This is Murray Boltinoff's last issue as Editor so maybe he just didn't try but this--yet another I skipped at the time--just kind of lies there. The cover is the only place the elder WF team appears this month as the kids end up in a western town where they fight ghosts...more or less. Ernie Chan--then going as Ernie Chua--handles the art and is yet another good match with inker Calnan.
Denny O'Neil--arguably the best writer DC had had since about 1970--is touted a staking over as story editor the following issue...but we're told Bob Haney is staying. Sigh...Must have been so frustrating for some kids.
